Participants: 10 non-professional photographers: Anton Kolev-Bulgaria, Vaso Vardaki-Cyprus, Martina Teislerova-Czech Republic, Pasquale Polignano-Italy, Ilona Romule-Latvia, Andreia Esteves and Helena Pinto Marina-Portugal, Andrea Espana Lofte-Spain, Barbaros Gülümser-Turkey, Simon Worthington-UK, with ages between 19 and 49.
Types of activities: lectures, group discussions, practical exercises, organizing an exhibition and creating a photo album.
Outcomes:increased knowledge about composition when taking a picture, framing, lightning for studio photo, how to use the camera’s features, etc. The learners had lived a Romanian experience: they visited Iasi city in short walks around the city centre, they had a trip in the N-E of Romania and visited Cheile Bicazului, Lacul Rosu, Borsec, Monasterys Voronet and Humor, the Painted Eggs Museum in Gura Humorului, a sheepfold.
The main outcomes of the workshop are:
- the photo album that includes the best 2 pictures of each participant taken during the workshop
- the photo exhibition held in Step Galery of the Information Touristic Centre, between 25 june and 1 july 2011. The exhibition contains the best 4 pictures of each participant.
